The staple of all Premier League discussions, but on our list for reasons more than that.

Firstly, the Egyptian is counted amongst the best players in the league. But his mercurial form lately is one of the reasons he is on our list. After scoring a hattrick in GW1, he has on many occasions been unlucky not to score, and on a few occasions, been lucky to find the net. They say fortune favours the bold, and bold is one of the things his style of play is.

The second reason he’s on…

Brighton had a forgettable day against Spurs, mostly down to decisions not going their way.

“I prefer to stay away” — This is what Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho had to say on the controversial VAR decision which got Brighton & Hove Albion back into the game. The incident involved Solly March bringing down Pierre-Emile Kordt Højbjerg, but referee Graham Scott let the play go on, which allowed Tariq Lamptey to score a delightful leveler past the stranded Hugo Lloris. In spite of checking on the VAR monitor himself, Scott let the goal stand. Safe to say, Mourinho wasn’t impressed.

Gunners vs Foxes (Picture: Football 365)

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal welcomes Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City to the Emirates Stadium in the Super Sunday clash of the Premier League weekend. Both teams are on 9 points and have the opportunity to enter the Top 4 by winning this blockbuster clash.

Leicester City have lost two league games on the trot at the hands of West Ham United and Aston Villa, not long before thrashing Pep Guardiola’s title contenders Man City 5–2. They did, however, beat Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk comfortably midweek in the Europa League.

The Gunners, meanwhile, will take optimism into this game after big-money signing Thomas…

United vs Chelsea headline Super Saturday (Picture: NBC Sports)

Club legend Frank Lampard’s Chelsea will travel to Old Trafford to take on another club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United in the headline clash of the upcoming Premier League weekend.

Both teams have blown hot and cold so far this season, and look nowhere near their best to stake a genuine claim for the Premier League crown. While Manchester United have taken four games to win two games in the league, Chelsea have taken five games for the same, drawing two and losing the crucial game against the reigning champions Liverpool.

Chelsea have invested heavily in recruits for this…

Liverpool vs Ajax (Picture: Champions League)

Liverpool: After an embarrassing 7-2 drubbing at the hands of Villa Park and sharing points with Everton in the Merseyside Derby, Liverpool needed to get back to winning ways.

With Virgil van Dijk out for the remaining of the season and Joel Matip getting a knock against Everton, it was Fabinho who took up space in place of van Dijk. This worked to the tee, with Liverpool keeping a clean sheet against a strong Ajax side, despite missing both van Dijk and goalkeeper Alisson. …

Manuel Lanzini wondergoal stuns London

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side was heading to this London Derby buoyant after thrashing giants Manchester United 6-1. And they started this game no differently, scoring three quick-fire goals in the first half, Heung min Son and Harry Kane combining brilliantly. And Jose still had a 'joker' on the bench - the maverick superstar Gareth Bale. But as luck would have it, after Bale came on in the second half, West Ham stunned them, scoring three goals towards the end to level the game. The last goal of the game will be forever remembered by whoever watched it live, such…

With Kepa massively struggling for form between the sticks, Chelsea was expected to make a signing in this department. In came Edouard Mendy, the Senegalese international from French side Rennes. He looked assured with the gloves in the 4–0 London Derby victory over Crystal Palace, and Chelsea fans would be hoping he’s a significant upgrade on Kepa.

Right-back — Nelson Semedo (Wolves)
